Jason Collett took the riding honours at Randwick on Saturday with a double, with the second coming on a pick-up ride.

Once again, Racenet was on hand to get the feedback from every rider after every race.

This is what the jockeys thought of their rides during the day.

WARRANTY

Christian Reith

The race was run to suit me. I got cheap sectionals mid-race and then it was just about letting her get through her gears. It was pretty painless today.

2nd

GROUNDBREAK

Koby Jennings

His run was great. His run was faultless, he didn’t wobble around like he can do. He’s definitely going to go and be a nice horse.

3rd

ALL TOO SOON

Jay Ford

Worked home OK.

4th

MEMENTO

Damian Browne

She was in a real mood today. She threw herself coming out of the barrier so I just let her settle early and get into her rhythm. She travelled well but the effort told.

5th

THE MIGHTY FED

Lee Magorrian (a3)

Went OK, probably just needs a set of shades on.

6th

CEDARWOOD

Glyn Schofield

No good in the ground.

I AM SERIOUS

Glyn Schofield

It was a good win, there was a nice solid tempo and she travelled and quickened well. There was a lot to like about the performance.

2nd

JUST DREAMING

Rachel King (a1.5)

Really good run second-up stepping up in distance.

3rd

DAGNY (NZ)

Tye Angland

Just held up in a crucial stage but ran to his her best.

4th

AWOKE (NZ)

Jason Collett

Good run but just failed to finish off.

5th

MISS DUBOIS (NZ)

Joshua Parr

Terrific first-up effort.

6th

LOVE'S A FANTASY

James Innes Jnr (a2)

A bit plain.

7th

PUMPKIN PIE

Jay Ford

She was disappointing. She’s not adept in soft conditions but on face value she was disappointing.

8th

AANVOERDER

Josh Adams

She got her tongue over the bit and choked down.

9th

WILDFLOWER

Blaike McDougall (a3)

Not too bad for a stayer resuming. He had a big blow.

FICKLE FOLLY

Very good tough win. Gee she travelled well. She’s a speedy little mare and Sue had her spot on today. She had her spot on. She just refused to lie down.

2nd

I THOUGHT SO

Tye Angland

He went well – he should have won that though, the way he loomed up – he’s not letting go.

3rd

TACTICAL ADVANTAGE

Glyn Schofield

I think the wet ground just took the sting out of him. He couldn’t quite rattle home as I would have liked on the wet track but it was a nice enough return.

4th

OZARK

Adam Hyeronimus

He was a little bit unlucky.

5th

NICTOCK

Joshua Parr

No good in the soft ground.

6th

MACHINEGUN JUBS

Josh Adams

Probably looking for 1200m now, at least he got out of the gates OK today.

7th

SUPER MAXI

Koby Jennings

His run was very average.

8th

ACCEPTED (IRE)

Lee Magorrian (a3)

No good today.

DIA DE REYES (NZ)

Jason Collett

He jumped today and the strong tempo helped. I got all the right runs up the inside there. Before I knew it I went from second or third last to hitting the lead under a hold. I got all the breaks at the right time and it was a good win.

2nd

SOVEREIGNAIRE

Glyn Schofield

Really good effort. The winner was too strong.

3rd

DALMATIA PRINCE

Josh Adams

He ran well. First time at the trip. He whacked away but they will get him rock hard fit for next time.

4th

READY FOR DANGER

Joshua Parr

Tricky horse that races in patches.

5th

CONFIDENTIAL

Brendan Ward

It wasn’t ideal with the soft going today. The trip wasn’t the issue but the ground was.

6th

FIREMAN SAM I AM

Deanne Panya (a2)

7th

SUPPLY MONEY

Blaike McDougall (a3)

The race was run at a strong tempo, too strong for mine.

8th

SKYGGE

Courtney Van Der Werf

Just battled.

9th

HALBERD

Rachel King (a1.5)

Disappointing.

10th

DEVIL'S FIRE

James Innes Jnr (a2)

Disappointing.

11th

APPOINT PERCY (NZ)

Jay Ford

Disappointing.

12th

LOYAL TOAST

Bobby El-Issa

He seems to go better when he’s back at home. He gets down here and he’s a different horse. He’s a nicer horse in his area.

13th

HOT MONEY

Tye Angland

Didn’t get through the going at all. Dipped and dived the whole way.

14th

VICTORY RED

Brock Ryan (a3)

He got really worked up before the race and sweated up. He did a lot of work early and knocked up.

PASSAGE OF TIME

Glyn Schofield

It was a good strong win. Stalked the leader and he was just too good today. A determined winner.

2nd

STONEBROOK

Adam Hyeronimus

It was a very good run, just probably wants further now.

3rd

HIGH MIST

Damian Browne

Just over raced a little when the pace slackened but he hit the line nice.

4th

DARTS AWAY

Bobby El-Issa

He ran good. He’s a smart old bush horse. We just ran into a couple of good ones today.

5th

GAMBLESTOWN (NZ)

Christian Reith

He ran well. He just wants further.

6th

RENEGED

Tye Angland

Good run. Only the one trial and straight to 1400m so will improve off that.

7th

PELORUS JACK

Blaike McDougall (a3)

Huge run. Got caught wide early and was a bit unlucky. He’ll benefit from that.

8th

WAYANKA

Jason Collett

Went back to get cover, the speed was only steady but we worked home ok.

KARAVALI (NZ)

Jason Collett

Travelled beautifully all the way. They turned the tempo on quite early and she managed to get up to them still on the bridle and we got over the rise and only had one to beat.

2nd

LEAD CHOREOGRAPHER (IRE)

Glyn Schofield

Travelled a bit fierce the whole way. If he just relaxed he might have had a bit more punch at the end.

3rd

LAST WISH (NZ)

Blaike McDougall (a3)

Huge run. We were a bit closer than what we’ve been and the track is pretty lose so once he gets back on top of the ground he shouldn’t be too far off.

4th

MALMAS (FR)

Jay Ford

He does a lot wrong. If he goes straight he would have finished a lot closer.

5th

GREAT GLEN (GB)

Lee Magorrian (a3)

Improved run. Probably with a bit more racing he’ll be better.

6th

ZAUNKONIG

Josh Adams

He ran well.

7th

SHALMANESER

Deanne Panya (a2)

He ran alright. Travelled beautifully, I think he just prefers to be ridden quieter where he is more comfortable.

8th

ARDANZA

Brock Ryan (a3)

Caught wide the whole way and got tired at the end.

9th

THUNDER ROAD

James Innes Jnr (a2)

Seems to be struggling this preparation.

11th

AUDACIOUS CHOICE

Didn’t handle the track at all today.

12th

Didn’t handle the backup I don’t think.

Good run from the barrier.

James Innes Jnr (a2)

Disappointing.

8th

Jay Ford

Didn’t offer much in the run to the line.

9th

Nick Heywood (a2)

I needed some luck from the draw.

10th

I had a good run in transit and travelled like the winner but when I went for him, he couldn’t do it.

12th

MOHER

Josh Adams

Didn’t have any luck.

13th

TAKEDOWN

Lee Magorrian (a3)

Didn’t enjoy the track and 60kg is probably too much for him.

INTERLOCUTER

Tye Angland

The race just worked out perfect. When you have a horse that you have a lot of confidence you don’t want to be in on the fence or with horses all around you so where I was it was an enjoyable ride. I didn’t have to worry about getting runs.

2nd

BLACK ON GOLD

Christian Reith

It was a good run. The winner was able to kick a little bit stronger than him at the top of the straight. He was really gallant and strong to the line.

3rd

DARK EYES

Adam Hyeronimus

Another honest very good run.

4th

IMPOSING LASS (NZ)

Rory Hutchings

Solid effort.

5th

7th
